Students Support & Guidance Programme

Students Support & Guidance Programme

Student Support and Guidance Programme is dedicated to fostering student success and well-being throughout their academic journey. We offer a comprehensive range of services including academic advising, personal counselling, mental health counselling, adolescent health counselling, and peer mentoring. The programme aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.

Our Mentor-Mentee Programme is designed to connect new students (mentees) with experienced teachers (mentors) who can provide valuable insights, advice, and support as they navigate college life. Mentors act as role models, encouraging mentees to set personal and academic goals. They provide a safe space for mentees to discuss any concerns or challenges they may face, fostering personal growth and self-confidence.

Objectives:

  • To equip new entrants to become confident professionals and to overcome academic learning-related difficulties they face during the initial period of their graduate health science course under KUHS.
  • The emphasis given in these programmes focuses on the holistic development of students by addressing their issues such as academic and scholastic issues, psycho-social issues, and physical and reproductive health issues.
